Where are tenders published (and why does almost no one see them)?

Public tenders are indeed published otherwise, they wouldn’t be public (with the exception of minor contracts or exclusive negotiated procedures). The problem is that they are scattered across many different locations. There is no single place where everything appears clearly and in an organized way, which causes many opportunities to go unnoticed.

They are primarily published in:

  • The Public Sector Procurement Platform

  • Regional (Autonomous) Platforms

  • Contracting Profiles of city councils and public bodies

So, why am I not finding out about them?

Because searching for them one by one is slow, confusing, and impractical. You have to check every day, filter correctly, and know how to interpret what is published. Many companies try, get tired, and end up thinking “there are no tenders,” when in reality, there are too many.

Additionally, if you sign up for government alerts, they will send you so many that the important ones might get lost in the noise.
